Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Email Bounce Checker website at emailbouncechecker.com and the associated email verification service (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
The Service verifies the deliverability of email addresses you submit, using techniques including syntax validation, DNS lookups, live SMTP handshakes and provider-level identity checks. Verification results are probabilistic assessments of deliverability at the time of the check; we do not guarantee that any message you send will be delivered, opened or accepted by a recipient's mail server.
2. Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
3. Free usage and credits
We offer a limited number of free checks per day on the website, tracked per IP address, and 100 free verification credits on account signup. One credit corresponds to one verification. Unknown results are never charged on single checks and are refunded automatically on bulk jobs. Purchased credits are non-transferable. We may modify free-tier limits at any time.
4. Payments
Paid credit packs are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card details. Prices are stated in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes unless noted otherwise. Except where required by law, credit purchases are non-refundable once credits have been used.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) verify addresses harvested in violation of applicable law, including anti-spam legislation such as CAN-SPAM, PECR or the GDPR; (b) send unsolicited bulk email; (c) probe, disrupt or overload our infrastructure or circumvent rate limits, quotas or the proof-of-work challenge; (d) resell the Service without our written consent; or (e) infringe the rights of any third party. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
6. Your data
You retain all rights to the email lists you upload. We process the addresses you submit solely to provide verification results to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to process the addresses you submit to the Service.
7. Availability and changes
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to give notice of material changes that affect paid features.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Verification results depend on the behaviour of third-party mail servers, which we do not control, and may be inaccurate or incomplete.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Sections 6, 8, 9 and 11 survive termination.
11. General
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
